Evolve KY Members Summer Social & EV Display
🗓️ Saturday, August 1st | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Veterans Park (6th and Elm, West Point, KY) — Right on the beautiful Ohio River!
Ready to step away from the weekend chores for a few hours? Come join fellow Evolve KY members and friends for a relaxing summer day by the water! We're told it's usually 10 degrees cooler right on the river.
What to expect:

Great Food: There will be several local food trucks on-site this year, or you are more than welcome to pack your own picnic lunch.

Sweet Treats: Bring your lawn chairs—Ellen is bringing fresh fruit and cookies to share!

Family & Pet Friendly: Kids and pups are absolutely welcome. There will even be a children's school-prep giveaway to help the little town children get ready for the upcoming school year.

Fresh Produce: Don't forget to check out the local Summer Farmer's Market operating right next door!
Our EV Display: We'll be lining up our electric vehicles on the grass by the picnic tables to share our EV enthusiasm with the local shoppers and townspeople. A huge thank you to Gary Masterson for his warm invitation to display our vehicles during our visit!
Whether you're a long-time member or just curious about EVs, we would love to see you there. Hope to see you by the river!

Check out these photos of our picnic at West Point, KY Veteran's Park, 6th and Elm. (West Point is located 20 miles south of Louisville off Dixie Hwy in Hardin County) The West Point Farmer's market is in operation every Saturday through the summer. Picnic area is just next to the Farmer's Market.
Veteran's Park is on the Ohio River: Direction: At intersection of West Point, KY and Dixie Hwy, Turn off Dixie Hwy onto Main Steet. Travel to 6th Street and turn right toward the river. Cross Elm street and proceed down to the River. We will park in the grass by the picnic tables!

Our members are electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts. Monthly meetings and outreach events keep our mission going.
A zero emission vehicle means less pollution and less associated health-related issues. Driving electric means driving responsibly.
